My 3rd of my "fallen angel" series. This guy represents me in a way.
As an artist, I wanted to a lot of things, explore and expand my skills, but as we age, we can only do so much. The "teethed" tentacles represents those things that I wanted to do and reach but unable to. the armless design was to represent that I can only do so much with the time I have... the mouth on the left chest represents the biting realization that I am slowly aging. The faceless face with a protruding horn represents the anger accumulated over the years because I cannot seem to reach my full potential, the belly well, I have a big belly.
So yes, this artwork is close to my heart coz I somehow, indirectly drew myself as a concept art.
Lesson: do not draw or design before you sleep... coz all the ideas are popping thru your head and in the end, you stress yourself and get insomnia like me...
